Theatre Cinema Festival

This festival is a great way to get back into movie-going this fall. On October 1st - 4th, come on out and see films from around the world on a five story screen at St John's University Queens Campus. There's also a panel taking place to discuss the crisis in Cuba, featuring celebrated guests from a variety of mediums and backgrounds as well as a feature length documentary and animated short film.

First Friday: Coffy

Looking for some early morning Blaxploitation? Poster House has got you covered. Coffy is a gritty action film that brought together so many elements of the genre, it's not something you're going to want to miss! Bryant park movie nights

Movie Nights are back in Bryant Park! From August 23rd to September 28th, ten movies will be screened on Monday and Tuesday nights! Bring a blanket, order food and wine from vendors, and check out a great slate of movies from Mrs. Doubtfire to Clueless.

Special guest appearances will accompany some of the movies, so stay tuned in for more updated on who's showing up.

NYC Networking Party for Creative, Tech, and Business Professionals

This event is held weekly at the Sour Mouse and is primarily used for helping local professionals connect and make better contacts. Film is one of the largest groups of professionals attending and about 60 people go to the weekly events. Aside from the film/digital media element there are also investors, small business owners and more, which can be helpful to find partners for your creative endeavors.
